Ill. Frederick T. Little, Sr. was elected as the Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander of the United Supreme Council by unanimous vote at the meeting held in Memphis, Tennessee on August 2, 2002. M.P.S.G.C. Little served in various positions in the United Supreme Council prior to his election to this position. M.P.S.G.C. Little joined the Masonic Organization in 1955 and remains a member of Colonel Charles Young Lodge #16 in Detroit, Michigan. He has served in several Masonic capacities and has been a diligent and faithful member. His great works include:

Ø      Past Worshipful Master of Colonel Charles Young Lodge #16

Ø      Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of King David Grand Lodge, A.F. & A.M.

Ø      Member of the Royal Arch and Knights Templar

Ø      Served as Illustrious Commander-in-Chief of the Detroit Consistory #1 (one of the largest consistories in the United Supreme Council for the Southern Jurisdiction).

Ø      Member of Eureka Temple #1

Ø      Member of Imperial Grand Council A.A.O.N.M.S., North and South America

Ø      Chairperson for the National Ways and Means Committee of the Imperial Grand Council


M.P.S.G.C. Little was born in Anderson, South Carolina. He attended Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama and later relocated to Detroit, Michigan in 1954. He was employed by Michigan Bakery Supply Company for 55 years until retirement in 2002. He garnered a reputation for hard work and dedication by earning numerous top salesman awards with the company. Not one to remain inactive, he returned to work with American Shortening in 2003. M.P.S.G.C. Little served in the United States Marine Corps and also in the Reserves. He retired as Chief Warrant Officer # 2 in 1977 and earned the honor and rank of Gunner. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Trustee Board of New Calvary Baptist Church in Detroit and is a life member of the NAACP.
